Deborah Minor, Ph.D., founded Drug Discovery Alliances (DDA) in 2001. Since then, she has successfully provided hundreds of pharmaceutical companies with end-to-end solutions in drug discovery, drug development, and commercialization projects. By leveraging her 20 years of experience in the industry, she has led DDA to become a global key player in connecting pharmaceutical manufacturers, consultants, and suppliers, as well as assembling a network of first-class experts to offer the full continuum of services needed to support leading life science firms and biotech start-ups in their business development.
After earning her Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Deborah worked as an organic chemist for Rhone Poulenc, Accelrys, and MDL, marketing molecular modeling technologies and databases including Beilstein and Crossfire to the pharmaceutical industry. She’s also a board member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society. Her deep experience as a senior chemist brings a unique perspective on understanding the intricacies of the compounds being produced and provides valuable insights into their quality and suitability for specific applications. By combining her passion for medicine with her substantial knowledge in business operations, supply chain management, and pharmaceutical development, she is able to deliver the best solutions for her clients' specific needs.
